Deadline – I’m hearing that Oscar nominee and Avengers star Scarlett Johansson (Marriage Story) is set to lead true-crime thriller Featherwood, which is one of the hottest new scripts ahead of next week’s EFM market in Berlin.

In a role that has some buyers already speculating awards potential, Johansson will portray Carol Blevins, a heroin addict and “Aryan Princess featherwood” (property of a gang member) who became one of the FBI’s most important informants during an epic, six-year investigation into the murderous, neo-Nazi crime and drug syndicate known as the Aryan Brotherhood Of Texas. Blevins, who lived with the gang, memorized details, pre-empted murders and interrupted robberies, helped convict 13 members of the group. However, her harrowing journey left her with significant physical and mental scars and she lives under constant threat of reprisal by the ABT.

The movie is based on the award-winning, six-part Dallas Morning News article by Pulitzer Prize finalist Scott Farwell.

I gather FilmNation is handling sales on the project, which will be directed by American Honey and Big Little Lies director Andrea Arnold, whose early career is marked by hard-hitting dramas such as Fish Tank and Red Road. Cannes Palme d’Or contender American Honey was BAFTA nominated and the filmmaker is currently in post on Bird starring Barry Keoghan.

Johansson will produce with Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn under their These Pictures banner. Script comes from Ned Benson, writer-director on Searchlight’s upcoming movie The Greatest Hits, and a writer on Marvel’s Johansson starrer Black Widow.

This is the latest in what is turning into a veritable bonanza in terms of EFM pre-sale titles. And there are interesting reasons for why that may be the case. More on that next week.

Johansson is in post on Paramount’s Transformers One and Sony and Greg Berlanti’s untitled rom-com with Channing Tatum.

Like back in 2021 Scarlett has taken part in a new Super Bowl Ad commercial for the big game. This time she is working with M&M’S called Almost Champions Ring of Comfort were she would get one for having two Oscar nominations but no Oscar’s tho she was given it in secret in the end. Back on January 09th Scarlett made one of her dreams come true with getting The Outset onto the massive enterprise site QVC for there products. To celebrate the launch on the site Scarlett and Kate made a stop on QVC TV to show of the products and have a good talk about them live on air. We had one more and the last of 2023 commercial from Scarlett’s David Yurman Nature’s Artistry campaign. No clue if this is the end of the campaign or if more is coming or if Scarlett will do a new one for the next year only time will tell. This time we got some photoshoots and on set photos from it.

And we are at Scarlett’s last event of 2023, On December 06th Scarlett who is the brand ambassador for the company and for the second year in a row she was at the David Yurman Hosts Event With Scarlett Johansson In Support Of Lower Eastside Girls Club at his flag ship shop in New York. The event was to support the Lower Eastside Girls Club and raise money for them. You can find all the photos in the gallery now.

INC. In Kate Foster, the Oscar-nominated actress found more than beauty industry bona fides–she found her ‘right hand.’

In 2020, Kate Foster had just sold her startup, the product review site SwearBy, when a friend suggested she talk to Scarlett Johansson, who was looking for a partner to help launch a skin care company.

Foster, 46, was reluctant to jump right back into the fray. “Startup life is all-consuming,” she says, and she wasn’t interested in being the workhorse behind a celebrity’s vanity project.

Curiosity, however, eventually won out. The longtime fashion and beauty executive took the meeting and quickly learned that the Oscar-nominated actress wanted to build a company on more than just her own image. Together, they agreed to share starring roles as co-founders of the Outset, which made its debut in 2022.

Scarlett made a surprise appearance on November 30th with Colin for the Natural History’s 2023 Museum Gala in New York. It’s that time of year 22nd November and I would like to wish both Scarlett and Hunter a very happy (yes very late) birthday. This year the Outset people took Scarlertt out for a meal and post a photo and video from the dinner.

In 20 November Scarlett and Colin made a show for Magic Castle show and took some photos backstage with the cast of the show. No official photos from the event are out but we have some that was post by the event and you can find them in the gallery.

On Novmeber 17th Scalrett made a stop on the last night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to do some promo for The Outset, talk about Colin, whats coming up for her, play a game of wraping a present with a blindfold on hint she is not that good at it and to solve one of the biggest mysterys in the last 10 years, the mystery of the disappearing woman behind Scarlett at on a interviews from 2006, turns out it was her Mom and still cant work out how she dose it.
