Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum sit down with “Extra’s” Tommy DiDario to talk “Fly Me to the Moon,” their comedy-drama about a NASA launch director uniting with a marketing executive to stage a fake moon landing. Scarlett and Channing didn’t really know each other prior to the movie, and they dished on having “really easy” chemistry — Channing joked he just “annoyed the sh*t” out of Scarlett! They also spoke about getting to tell a fun and fantastical story going behind the curtain of NASA, set against the backdrop of a real and dramatic time in history. Plus, we had to ask: If given the chance, would they want to go into space?

Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson are a romantic comedy duo for the ages in “Fly Me to the Moon.” The film marks the first time the two have worked together on a film and although they didn’t officially meet until around the table read, Scarlett told Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent Emily Orozco that bonding with the “Magic Mike” star was “natural.” Scarlett also had natural chemistry with another scene partner—her husband Colin Jost—who has a cameo in the film. While chatting with Access, Channing said watching them on screen was “really beautiful.” “They were super sweet, and you could tell they really respect each other,” he added. Channing has another major film coming out soon—“Blink Twice.” The movie was directed by his fiancée Zoë Kravitz and he told Access fans will be “blown out of the water” when they see it. “I haven’t been this excited for a movie in a while. It’s something different that I’ve never, ever done,” he said. “And then Zoë, I mean, I’m obviously biased but I think she did something unbelievably special. She made a trojan horse of a movie that I don’t think has been made in a while.” Plus, the “21 Jump Street” alum reacted to an Access interview with Travis Kelce where he revealed he wanted the actor to play him in a film! “Fly Me to the Moon” hits theaters July 12.

Hollywoodreporter – Voice actors are filing lawsuits while SAG-AFTRA is rallying lawmakers to bar AI companies from misappropriating members’ likenesses.

Artists were first to sue. Then authors hit generative artificial intelligence companies with a volley of lawsuits, followed by publications. As battle lines over the use of AI tools in Hollywood are being drawn, actors may be the next group of creators to open another front in what could be an industry-defining legal battle against AI firms over the use of copyrighted works and personal data to power their human-mimicking chatbots.

On Monday, Scarlett Johansson threatened legal action against OpenAI for allegedly copying and imitating her voice after she refused to license it to the company. According to the actress, OpenAI asked her to be one of the voices called “Sky” for its newest AI system. She declined, though she said that didn’t stop chief executive Sam Altman.

“When I heard the released demo, I was shocked, angered and in disbelief that Mr. Altman would pursue a voice that sounded so eerily similar to mine that my closest friends and news outlets could not tell the difference,” she wrote in a statement.

Johansson said that the similarity was intentional, pointing to Altman tweeting “Her” — a reference to her role as an AI assistant who forms an intimate relationship with a human in Her. She’s hired legal counsel, who wrote two letters to OpenAI, directing them to detail the process by which they created the “Sky” voice. Both of the letters referenced in Johansson’s statement (she wrote them herself) were sent after the Altman-led firm rolled out its demo and advanced multiple potential legal claims, a person familiar with the situation tells The Hollywood Reporter.

“They wouldn’t have done this if not for the letters,” this source says. “This wasn’t just a ‘What’s going on over there?’ [letter]. This was much more aggressive and forceful.”

OpenAI dropped “Sky,” but the specter of litigation looms over the company embattled with legal issues over the foundation of its technology.

The legal threat follows the filing of a proposed class action in New York federal court against Berkeley-based AI startup LOVO accusing the company of stealing and profiting off of the voices of actors, as well as those of A-list talent such as Johansson, Ariana Grande and Conan O’Brien. It’s believed to the first lawsuit against an AI firm over the use of likenesses to train an AI system and marks a growing rift between creators and companies alleged to indiscriminately hoover troves of copyrighted works and data to fuel their technology.

The Blonde Phantom

Heroichollywood -Scarlett Johansson is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, just not how fans may expect! A rumor suggests Marvel is developing a Disney Plus series based on The Blonde Phantom.

Back when Black Widow was first released back in 2021, it was revealed that Marvel Studios and Scarlett Johansson would continue their relationship following her departure as Natasha Romanoff. Almost nothing was revealed about the project aside from it being set within the MCU and that it wouldn’t be related to Black Widow.

Three years out, a new rumor by Giant Freakin Robot now suggests that Marvel and Scarlett Johansson are developing a series based around The Blonde Phantom for Disney Plus. It’s not stated that Johansson would be playing the titular heroine, with her only currently attached to produce.

Who Is The Blonde Phantom?
The Blonde Phantom is one of Marvel’s earliest heroines, debuting in All Select Comics #11 in September 1946. The character, whose real name is Louise Grant, was a secretary to the O.S.S., which served as a predecessor to the CIA during World War II. Grant fell in love with her boss Mark Mason. One day, wanting to help Mason on a case, she donned the moniker The Blonde Phantom to assist him in fighting crime.

The Blonde Phantom certainly shows its age in its premise. However, given Scarlett Johannson’s history with female spies, it’s likely her origin would be reinvented for whatever Disney Plus series Marvel cooks up. A period piece in the MCU could also be incredibly interesting. However, at this time, all of this is still just a rumor, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Popsugar – Scarlett Johansson knows that the celebrity-turned-beauty-founder arc is a little played out — especially in the industry’s current state. As someone who has sat in countless makeup chairs and served as the face of several major brands (often while quietly navigating her own skin-care woes), Johansson’s also witnessed the beauty space evolve pretty drastically throughout her career — which is why at this stage in her life, she’s much more interested in finding ways to cut through all the noise rather than adding to it.

“I worked as an ambassador for brands for a very long time, and eventually I just felt like I didn’t want to represent other people’s beauty standards; I’d outgrown that as a person. But I didn’t know how to begin. It’s such a completely different industry than what I do in entertainment,” Johansson says. “I started this deep dive, trying to understand if what I was looking for was also what the consumer was looking for, so it didn’t just feel like I was making something for myself.”

After five years of meticulous research and brand-building, that “something” in question later evolved into The Outset, Johansson’s skin-care label that she formally launched in the spring of 2022 alongside her cofounder, Kate Foster Lengyel.

Unlike other beauty brands, The Outset’s ethos is rooted in a “less is more” approach, with a refined product assortment that’s designed to support even the most sensitive skin types thanks to its “radically gentle” ingredient base.

Now, with a couple years of market experience under her belt, Johansson’s working to make The Outset’s skin-care products more accessible to consumers. Just recently, it expanded to Amazon and QVC after previously only being available at retailers like Sephora and Nordstrom.

“Connecting with an audience through different retail avenues and amazing products has always been a goal of mine, and we’re really getting to do that this year as we continue to expand with QVC and Amazon. It’s such an exciting time for the brand,” Johansson says.

Ahead, we spoke with Johansson about her relationship with beauty, how she drew inspiration from her own skin-care journey in order to build her brand, and all of the product essentials she can’t live without. From a luxury designer handbag to a hydrating foundation stick and slanted tweezers, shop Scarlett Johansson’s must haves below.
