On the 4th February 2020 Scarlett’s movie JoJo Rabbit was released on Blu-Ray in the US and after a little looking I got my hands on a close to 1080p blu-ray quality version as I can for now. Scarlett plays Rosie the mother of JoJo (Roman Griffin Davis) who is questioning all he knows and starts to see what Rosie is trying to teach him. It was her second time that year playing a mother in her moves and to me the chemistry she had with Roman was amazing and both worked so well of each other and just look cute doing it. The performances from all were outstanding and she deserved all the award nominations for it.

I have done all the Screen Captures for the movie and you can now find them in the gallery, And the movie come’s out in the UK on May 11th so all bonus features will be added in then.

thejc – The UK Jewish Film Festival has announced a prestigious line-up for 2019, including the Oscar-tipped JoJo Rabbit starring Scarlett Johansson and UK premiers of spy drama The Operative, starring Diane Kruger and Martin Freeman, and comedy My Polish Honeymoon.

The festival will run from November 6-21 at 15 cinemas across London. In addition, festival highlights will be shown in 20 towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales, running until December 12.

The programme, which features 96 films and discussions with directors, actors, politicians and journalists, is the largest of its kind in the world. It includes eight world premieres, one European premiere, 40 UK premieres, and films from 24 countries, including 23 films from the UK.

The opening night gala will host a showing of My Polish Honeymoon, a debut feature from French director Élise Otzenberger. The comedy follows a recently-married Parisian couple as they head off on a belated honeymoon to Poland, and becomes a story about rediscovering roots and being Jewish today.

The Oscar-tipped Jojo Rabbit, which recently won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival, will be the centrepiece of the closing night gala. Written and directed by Taika Waititi (Jewish on his mother’s side; his father is Maori), this Second World War satire follows Jojo, a lonely German boy whose imaginary friend is an idiotic Adolf Hitler. Jojo’s world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic.

The centrepiece gala will see the UK premiere of The Operative, directed by Yuval Adler and starring Diane Kruger and Martin Freeman. British citizen Rachel is a rootless polyglot, but with a deep love for Israel – traits that make her an ideal Mossad agent. Recruited by a Berlin-based British Jew, she is sent to Tehran to spy on a businessman. Based on the Israeli novel? The English Teacher,?The Operative?asks whether love for a man is more important than service to your nation.

The documentary gala hosts the world premiere of The Human Factor, followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Dror Moreh (The Gatekeepers), and producer Teddy Leifer (Oscar nominee for The Invisible War, Oscar winner for Icarus). With the end of the Cold War and America becoming a sole global superpower, the 1990s brought the promise of a new world order – and hopes for a comprehensive peace between Israel and two of its bitterest enemies, the Palestinians and Syria. Featuring key players, the documentary looks back at a decade which started with the signing of the Oslo Accords and ended with a bitter sense of disillusionment, leading to the Second Intifada.

Michael Etherton, Chief Executive of UK Jewish Film, said: “We are the UK’s only film festival dedicated to telling stories about Jewish life and experience, and the majority of our UK and international films would not otherwise make it to cinemas or streaming services.

“At a time of increasing fears about the rise of racism, including antisemitism, the UK Jewish Film Festival has a crucial role to play in making sure that Jewish life and culture is being adequately represented on our cinema screens.

“That’s why this year, with the support of the BFI Audience Fund, we are unrolling an extensive and important nationwide tour. From Inverness to Brighton and Bangor to Norwich, we will reveal wonderful cinematic snapshots of Jewish life to diverse audiences who may not otherwise have any interaction with Jewish culture.”

Synopsis: “If Breakup was dealing with an unravelling relationship, Apart is dealing with the aftermath,” he explains. “It acknowledges the array of heavy emotions that come up living separate lives. You’re getting used to the idea of not being with someone who has been a big part of your life. Even after a break up has occurred, the presence of an ex still seems to loom large in one’s mind for a while. There are moments during the day where you wonder, is it really over? Or will there be another chapter in the relationship now that it has evolved? The EP is an attempt to sort through all this and get comfortable with the excitement of new freedoms while facing underlying fears of the unknown road that lies ahead.” P.T.O “Being able to revisit this project with Pete in a totally different context but within the same creative parameters is a unique artistic opportunity for me. Solarresponders
On September 20th, 2017, Hurricane Maria knocked out power to 100% of Puerto Rico’s 3.4 million residents, hospitals, telecommunications, fire stations, and 85% of the police stations. The storm devastated all aspects of the electrical grid (the above ground lines, transformers, power plants) which resulted in the longest blackout in the United States. An estimated 2,975 people died in Puerto Rico as a direct result of Hurricane Maria, making it the deadliest natural disaster in the United States in 100 years. In emergency situations, first responder stations transform into makeshift crisis centers, playing an essential role for local communities. Even though stations are typically outfitted with backup diesel generators, they are vulnerable to supply chain failures and mechanical breakdown. Without any form of power, first responders lose their capacity to: effectively receive emergency calls from 911 dispatchers charge radios and operate computer systems to communicate and coordinate mutual aid operate the stations’ A/C, cooling fans and lights operate the watch-office, which serves as an emergency resource and community haven First responders cannot risk interference with key communication resources, especially while facing unpredictable and dangerous conditions that occur after disasters. When the electric grid fails, first responders are unable to respond. The scale and urgency of this problem is only increasing. As our climate changes, natural disasters are increasing in frequency and intensity. Action is needed now to ensure the critical needs of first responders in vulnerable regions are met so they can save lives when a disaster occurs.
Cover Girl

Scarlett is featured on the cover of the Winter Issue of The Gentlewoman Magazine promoting Black Widow.
Not that there’s been much acting of late. When the world came to a halt, Scarlett found herself “kind of flummoxed,” she says. “I don’t know, I was having an out-of-body experience.” Without a film to make, she found herself adrift, flirting with a minor existential crisis. “At the beginning, I was doing all this crap that everyone was doing – like, I’ll start learning how to play guitar,” she says, in one of a number of soliloquies during our conversation that veer between earnest self-interrogation and stand-up. “Whatever. In between panicking. And then that stuff sort of faded away, and I realised actually that I exist pretty well in this space. I realise I don’t have to be constantly in motion to survive, I think.” She pauses. “I’ve always had this fear of, what if everything goes away, what will become of me? It’s this great fear of the unknown, and now I’ve been that way for some time, I realise, Oh, actually, you’re still alive.” She smiles and adds cheerfully, “It probably comes from some fear of death, anyway.”
