On December 06th Marriage Story was released to the world over Netflix and after a little looking I got my hands on a close to 1080p blu-ray quality version as I can. Scarlett plays the role of Nicole a mom who after a unhappy marriage is getting a getting a divorce from Charlie (Adam Driver) and wants to move to LA and take her son Henry (Azhy Robertson) with her and with the help of Nora (Laura Dern) that is what she will try and do. After watching this I just was in shock from it all, The movie is a heartbreaking real life representation of divorce and what the effects of it can do to yourself, your family and everybody around you and in the end what it takes to still stay in each others lives. Both Scarlett and Adam kill this movie and in my mind Scarlett delivers one of the best if not the best (JoJo Rabbit is up there with it) performances of her career and at times you fully understand were she is coming from, why she is doing it and sympathise with her and other times she comes of as the “bad guy” in it all and you full sympathise with Charlie and that is what makes this so outstanding there is no happy ending just understanding is the best way I can say it.
I may have gone a little over the top on both doing Screen Captures for the gallery and on this post but it was just so much to show the story of this but you can now go to the gallery and have a look at the well over 1,900 Blu-Ray Screen Captures in there and please please please if you can go and watch this on Netflix you will not be disappointed.
