Thirteen years ago, New York City detective Julie Miller (Johansson) ended the terror reign of satanic serial killer Father Sunday. The EP is an attempt to sort through all this and get comfortable with the excitement of new freedoms while facing underlying fears of the unknown road that lies ahead.”

Scarlett Johansson is priming me on what to order at the Ritz Diner, a 60-year-old institution in her Upper East Side neighborhood. She’s just walked in wearing bulky circumaural headphones, a plush turquoise turtleneck, and an old Yankees cap, and we’re sitting in a small booth by a window with the blinds closed. Today may technically still be in the midst of a dreary New York winter, but this buoyant mid-March afternoon—the temperature inching toward 60 degrees, the sun brightly shining—is signaling the beginning of spring. Before ordering a turkey sandwich on rye, Johansson suggests a change in the season will do us all some good: “It’s such a weird time.”

After the success of the The 76th Venice Film Festival Scarlett made her way to to next film festival this time for both of her new movies Marriage Story and JoJo Rabbit at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. On Sunday (September 8th) Scarlett had a full day of first doing press for both movies (the first set of interviews are below) and right after going to the first of her premieres for the night Marriage Story at the Winter Garden Theatre. Scarlett kept it day time classy for this one in a Oscar de la Renta dress from his Resort 2020 Collection, Andrea Wazen PVC Dassy pumps in blue and Irene Neuwrith Lapis and Fire Opal Tropical Flower Earrings. Not a lot of photos from the event are out right now but I have added in over 70HQ for now and I hope to get more soon.
