Even after a break up has occurred, the presence of an ex still seems to loom large in one’s mind for a while. There are moments during the day where you wonder, is it really over? Or will there be another chapter in the relationship now that it has evolved? The EP is an attempt to sort through all this and get comfortable with the excitement of new freedoms while facing underlying fears of the unknown road that lies ahead.”

Scarlett Johansson is priming me on what to order at the Ritz Diner, a 60-year-old institution in her Upper East Side neighborhood. She’s just walked in wearing bulky circumaural headphones, a plush turquoise turtleneck, and an old Yankees cap, and we’re sitting in a small booth by a window with the blinds closed. Today may technically still be in the midst of a dreary New York winter, but this buoyant mid-March afternoon—the temperature inching toward 60 degrees, the sun brightly shining—is signaling the beginning of spring. Before ordering a turkey sandwich on rye, Johansson suggests a change in the season will do us all some good: “It’s such a weird time.”

On January 19th the next big award show of the season took place 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium and was a career first for Scarlett as it was her first time at the SAG awards don’t no how she never when before now. Again Scarlett was up for Best Actress award for Marriage Story and again she lost out to renee zellweger But she did present a award with her JoJo Rabbit co-stars Taika Waititi and Roman Griffin Davis who was just so cute to watch.
For this event Scarlett was in a Armani Prive Custom dress, Stuart Weitzman Sandals, and jewellery by Taffin (thanks to Scarlett Johansson Closet for the info)
