Knocking one possible award off her impressive list, Scarlett Johansson will not be bringing home a Golden Globe for her work in “Her.”
According to various reports, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has ruled that Johansson’s voice-only performance in Spike Jonze’s film will not be eligible. A member of the association explained that in order to be nominated, the actor has to have a physical presence onscreen.
In the film, Scarlett portrays Samantha, an operating system for a near-future computer device. During the course of the flick, Samantha begins to form a relationship with her installer, Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix).

What a set of bastards!
I hope Scarlett wins the Academy Award for ‘Her’ and then sticks two fingers up to the Golden Globes….
