Scarlett as well as her Jungle Book co-starts Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and Neel Sethi are on the cover of this months Parade Magazine, With a gorgeous photoshoot of them all and a online interview with Scatlett and Neel. Scans from the magazine are now up in the galley with I hope some outtakes to come out soon from this shoot.

Cub reporter 11-year-old Zachary Kaplan joined his mom, Lambeth Hochwald, to interview the stars of The Jungle Book. Read below to find out what Lupita Nyong’o told him about wolves and what Neel Sethi thinks about being a child star.

Scarlett Johansson What impact will your character, Kaa, will have on kids watching the movie?
This snake is warm and enticing, but the setting is very serious, scary and dark. You don’t expect this giant snake to come out of the rain forest. I loved animals as a kid and I think most kids like animals—talking animals even better.

What age do you think would be best for the movie?
I think your age is a good age, especially because you can relate to the main character. There is some stuff that might be a little scary for younger kids because of the scale of it and there’s a lot at stake. I think it’s great for adults too.

What do you hope kids remember about the film?
Me of course! When I was 11, I remember seeing Jurassic Park in the theater. It was the best movie-going experience. I hope that kids will have the kind of experience where you’re totally carried away by a movie and want to see it again and again.

I have updated the gallery with a just gorgeous promotional photo of Scarlett alongside her The Jungle Book character Kaa who she dose the voice for in the movie.

Kaa is a massive python who uses her voice and hypnotic gaze to entrance Mowgli. The man-cub can’t resist her captivating embrace. “Kaa seduces and entraps Mowgli with her storytelling,” says Scarlett Johansson. “She’s the mirror into Mowgli’s past. The way she moves is very alluring, almost coquettish.”
