Scarlett Johansson’s Role
Scarlett Johansson will be making her debut both as a writer and director with a five minute short film starring Kevin Bacon. The film, entitled These Vagabond Shoes, is about “The tranquility of solitude breaks through the cacophony of the city as a man makes his way across Manhattan to the sea at Coney Island – witnessing the majesty, magic and wonder of the city and its inhabitants, as they pass him by.”

Quotes: Scarlett Johansson
• “I really got to work with the best of the best but in a really short and sweet kind of way. It was the perfect first taste. (Directing) it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do ever since I was probably 12 years old – it was very exciting for me to sample it.”
• “Kevin Bacon was my dream lead for it: He’s such a delicate, understated, fine actor.”
