Black Widow has been a curious character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She’s one of the few major superheroes that has yet to get her own standalone film, but she’s been put to solid use as a key component of the MCU. Though she debuted in Iron Man 2, Widow really flourished in The Avengers, and thanks to her relationship with Steve Rogers in the movie, she went on to co-star opposite Chris Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Following next month’s sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlett Johansson is poised to don the suit again straight away in Captain America: Civil War. But unlike The Winter Soldier, which focused almost exclusively on Cap, Captain America 3 is pulling together a number of characters from the MCU to kick off the Civil War storyline—including Black Widow.

Steve recently sat down with Johansson for an exclusive interview at the Avengers: Age of Ultron press day, and he spoke with the actress about Captain America: Civil War and her reaction to reading the script for the first time:
“I have read the script for Civil War. You know, the film has a very different feeling than anything of Marvel’s that I’ve read or been a part of before. These films are—I don’t think darker is the right word because there’s definitely always going to be some kind of levity, and that comes in a form of humor or hope. When you compare these films to like Batman, it’s a different feeling obviously, it’s a different audience experience, but as the stakes loom like larger and larger I think these films are kind of maturing with the audience; so there’s even more complex psychological twists that I sort of hadn’t necessarily anticipated.”
When asked if Widow’s relationship with Cap automatically means she sides with Rogers in the Civil War storyline, the actress laughed and replied, “I can’t say anything about that.” But Johansson did discuss the prospect of working with The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo again on Civil War, who will also be helming Avengers: Infinity War – Parts 1 & 2:
“I’m excited to work with the Russos again. They have a very different approach to this universe than Joss, just different. It will be interesting to see how they treat all of these new characters. When we were doing Cap 2, the film felt very much like we were doing a kind of ‘70s style car-chase political-thriller, it had that kind of flavor. But they were also dealing with far less characters, the stakes were just different. Now with Civil War it’s gonna be interesting to see how they set up this next phase, I think Cap 3 is definitely sort of like a pre-Avengers 3 and 4. It feels like that, whereas Cap 2 didn’t feel like it was necessarily part of The Avengers. I mean, it feels like a piece that fits in, but it didn’t feel like it was leading you into Avengers 2.”
I know things have been a little dead on here as of late, Scarlett is still filming Cap3 and not doing events so there is just not a lot to post but with that being said I made some time today to cap one of her movies for the site. Our previous DVD caps of Scatlett as Barbara Sugarman in Joseph Gordon-Levitt Don Jon from 2013 have been replaced with over 800 new 1080p Bluy-Ray screen captures. The bad news is that the UK disk has no Bonus Features on it so I could not add them into the gallery for you all. Enjoy these and I have more to come.
After repeatedly maintained ever O great it would never work on a result of Lucy, Luc Besson, the favorite director of the blind, obviously cast a glance at the box office and hundreds of millions of dollars raised by the film.
So during his first CineEurope, annual show organized by his company EuropaCorp, the news came. There will be a Lucy 2. No panic, no need to leave the country to liquidate your assets or euthanize your children.
For now, still no indication that Scarlett Johansson is involved in the business, about the movie itself it has so far no release date. Luc Besson is currently busy settle accounts with Valerian, classic European comic (after having subjected the latest outrages Adèle Blanc-Sec), one can hope that it does not splint to the task by 2017 .
Of course, the worst is always possible, it is not inconceivable that he entrusts the thing in one of the official film directors Europa Corp. Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3, Taken 3) randomly. If similar cataclysm was to profile in the near future, we would not miss to warn you.
Sorry things have been a little slow on here, Scarlett is filming so there’s not a lot going on right now so I’m taking the time to work on the site behind the scenes so I will post about all that soon. Till then one new outtake from Scarlett’s Parade photoshoot has come online at last and is up in the gallery for you all to see.

She’s world famous yet incredibly private; effortlessly cool but secretly down-to-earth. Stylist meets the actress to discover what makes her tick.
Of all the things Stylist expected Scarlett Johansson to be into, RuPaul’s Drag Race was not one of them. See also cooking meatloaf and fan-girling over Clive Owen. But then, how much do we really know about the Hollywood star? She’s beguiled critics, audiences and co-stars alike since her big breakout in the late Nineties in The Horse Whisperer. Career-defining roles in Lost In Translation and Vicky Cristina Barcelona followed, leading to her current straddling of both the blockbuster world – starring in the Marvel franchise – and the arthouse with films like Under The Skin.
Yet she has managed to keep her private world just that. We know little of the life she shares with her French husband Romain Dauriac, a creative advertising exec, and their baby Rose Dorothy, living between Paris and New York. But the career choices she makes and her political advocacy – she’s campaigned for the Democrats in three elections now – suggest a smart, cultured and passionate mind. One that we wanted to know more about.
When Stylist meets 30-year-old Johansson she’s dressed in a sharp black trouser suit, her short crop swished to the side, New Romantic style. She wears a cluster of rings and a charm bracelet tattoo on her wrist – you have to squint to see the slogan it bears: ‘I Heart NY’. It’s a discreet declaration, but one that offers a tantalising glimpse behind the scenes.
In conversation. Johansson is equal parts fun and serious. Particularly striking is how she concentrates on you; studying your mannerisms as much as you do hers. This observational skill is one of the qualities that marks out every part she takes on, not least in her current role as Black Widow in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which she has built up into a truly three dimensional character since joining the Marvel family in 2010.
So, what lies behind the on-screen heroics? What are Johansson’s real life passions? Here, she tells Stylist what really makes her happy.
My TV Obsessions: I love RuPaul’s Drag Race. The show is delightful. That’s the guilty pleasure. I love [US chef] Anthony Bourdain. He has a great travel show called Parts Unknown. He’s my favourite. What else is on my ‘to watch’ list? I’m waiting for the second season of [historic drama] The Knick. Clive Owen is amazing. I totally geeked out when I saw him at a party recently. I was over-zealous. I’d met him before but this time I was like [frantically], “I just have to tell you I love you, oh my god.” I was talking about the season and what’s going to happen next. He must think I’m a freak.
My happy place: I love New Orleans. It’s such a great city, it’s magical. The people are warm, unique and artistic and the food is delicious. Walking around the French Quarter is like being in a Tennessee Williams play. Magazine Street is great; there are so many cool stores and you can stop and get a po’ boy [laughs] – it’s a huge sandwich, it’s local food. The most surprising place I’ve ever visited is Moscow. I never expected it to look the way that it did.
Disney and Marvel have another movie in the billion-dollar club. After breaking records in China this week with a $33.9 million opening, Avengers: Age Of Ultron has gone on to pass the $1 billion mark at the global box office on its 24th day of release. Only two other Marvel movies have enjoyed this success (Avengers Assemble and Iron Man 3), but it’s actually the eighth Disney release to surpass the billion dollar threshold. The Joss Whedon directed flick still has a ways to go to catch the latest Fast & Furious instalment though, which is currently sitting on a whopping $1.47 billion.
Scarlett and the rest of the cast of the new Captain America: Civil War have began shooting in Atlanta for the movie, And I have just added in on set candids of Scarlett from May 13th, 14th, 15th and 20th to the gallery. I hope there are more to come in the weeks to come.
