As there are no relevant news or pics from Scarlett I’ve decided to make a catch up with the photos we were missing on the gallery. I’ve added a new Mango spring 2010 promotional pic, three new shots from the Anywhere I Lay My Head album photoshoot, and lots of images from the Mango New Collection Launch Party, an event Scarlett attended back in November in Madrid. Hope you like all these new adds!
Some more gallery updates for today. I added a bigger version of her new album’s cover, three new gorgeous Anywhere I Lay My Head Promo Photoshoot images, and replaced some low quality photos for HQs. We were also missing pictures from an event that Scarlett attended in 2005, the 7th On Sale Gala, so I uploaded them. She was so lovely wearing a nice Calvin Klein dress.
Hello Everyone! I’m Rope and I’m glad to announce that I will be co-webmistress with Lisa from today! I’m also a long time fan of Scarlett and I’ve been following her career since I saw her in Girl With a Pearl Earring. I will do my best to keep both Scarlett-Fan and Scarlett-Photos updated, and I hope you like my job and of course Lisa’s!
To start, I’m adding to the gallery some unseen outtakes from Scarlett’s album ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’ photoshoot, she looks so natural and beautiful.

Scarlett Johansson has had quite an active year. She starred in a couple of movies, married actor Ryan Reynolds and even indulged her inner rock star by releasing an album. But don’t think that Johansson is done with the music business just yet, because she has plans for a follow-up.
Back in the spring, Johansson released a Tom Waits cover album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head”, and she promises it isn’t her last. “I would love to do another album,” she told MTV News while promoting The Spirit, the new film based on Will Eisner’s comic book.
She also revealed that this time around, she’d like to tackle some original material, perhaps inspired by married life — which she’s not a fan of talking about in interviews. But she said she’s going to have to wait, since she already has such a busy schedule.
I missed a tasty treat whilst moving… Scarlett recorded a live session for Rhapsody and it is really good. You can check out five videos as well as a nice interview over here and order the MP3s here. The gallery has been updated with related photos.
Right this instant, should you choose to, you can flip on over to the iTunes music store and get yourself the seven song iTunes Live Session EP from noted actress and Tom Waits aficionado Scarlett Johansson.
On the EP, Johansson runs through five of her familiar Waits covers from the recent “Anywhere I Lay My Head” LP, a take on Franks Wild Years’ Innocent When You Dream (which does not appear anywhere on “Anywhere”), and a typically woozy spin on the Cure’s immortal Boys Don’t Cry.
Live Session EP:
01 Anywhere I Lay My Head
02 Innocent When You Dream
03 Falling Down
04 I Wish I Was in New Orleans
05 Green Grass
06 Who Are You?
07 Boys Don’t Cry

Actress Scarlett Johansson, who released an album of Tom Waits covered named “Anywhere I Lay My Head” yesterday (May 19), has hinted that she may play festival dates this summer.
The star said that the only thing stopping her was stagefright.
“It would be sad to not get everybody [band members] together,” she told The London Paper. “Whether it’s at a festival or somewhere that’s kind of fun.
“[But] I have horrible stage fright, so it would have to be overcome. People approach me [about playing live] and my usual answer is, ‘Ah, I’ll think about that’.
“When I do think about it, I start to get really sweaty and uncomfortable and itchy around the neck.”
I totally forgot to post about this before but Scarlett made #2 on Maxim‘s 2008 Hot 100 list. Model Marisa Miller made #1 this year. The ‘sexy’ thing is getting kind of old but here’s what they had to say about our girl anyways:
Perched high atop the A-list, this dangerously curvy bombshell (and possessor of Hollywood’s most luscious lips) has the acting chops to back up her mind-melting hotness. We’ve watched her in indie films (Lost in Translation, Match Point). We’ve watched her in chick flicks (The Nanny Diaries, The Other Boleyn Girl). Truth is, we’d rapturously watch her sort her recycling. But first we’ll be in line for her most guy-friendly project yet, the noirish, Frank Miller–directed The Spirit.
Scarlett was on the cover of today’s The Times Culture supplement. I’ve scanned it and added the lengthy article here in the press archive. The gallery has been updated a lot this weekend with scans, album shoot pics and cover scans, AOL sessions caps and stills and more! Click here to view all – it is too many things to list here. Big thanks to Gary, Roberto, Luca, rope, Mina and everyone else who contributed to this post.
As I mentioned before, I am in between my exams and I will be moving in two weeks time so this will likely be the last big update for the month. I will try my best to keep you updated with news and anything else major but obviously, my studies and move take first priority. I will add all pending videos, photos and articles once everything’s settled again.
Last but certainly not least, Scarlett’s “Anywhere I Lay My Head” is released tomorrow in the UK and on Tuesday in the US. I have listed the album through several times now and while I wasn’t crazy about the first single, I happy to say that I already love the album. Yes, people, it is really good. My faves tracks include Green Grass, No One Knows I’m Gone, Song For Jo and I Wish I Was in New Orleans. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!
