Entertainment Weekly – March 2018 Cover

As well as giving us the new still Entertainment Weekly revealed 15 covers from it’s March magazine with all the cast of Avengers – Infinity War on them, And Scarlett has her own cover showing of one of her promo photos from the movie. As soon as I can I will add in the digital scans but till then go have a look at the cover.

As well Entertainment Weekly did a interview with the boss Kevin Feige thats a good real for Marvel fan’s

With Infinity War, you’ve talked about this being an endpoint or a climax. You’ve built up this world over 10 years, what are you looking to do to it with this film and next year’s follow-up?
Playing rough with toys, as you said. [Laughs] With Infinity War, it’s coming to a climax, coming to a conclusion of seeds with all the MacGuffins in various movies, and with Untitled Avengers a year later, bringing what will be that first 22 movie arc to a finality. That doesn’t mean there are no movies after that. Of course not. It means the movies after that will be changed. Again, it goes to the comics. Every great event in the 50 plus years of publishing history would have an impact on the individual books going forward after that.

Can you describe how Infinity War might reshape the tone of films to come?
You start to think differently about how the characters are interacting, what character’s stories are coming to a close, and what character’s stories are only just beginning. Those stories will continue. I think they’ll continue in surprisingly different and unexpected ways after these two Avengers films.

When we talk about resolution or a character’s story ending, are we necessarily talking about death?
People always will jump to that. That’s not necessarily what we’re talking about. I talk a lot, because I’m a big-ass nerd, about Star Trek: The Next Generation, “All Good Things.” That to me is one of the best series finales ever. That wasn’t about death. Picard went and played poker with the crew, something he should have done a long time ago, right?

One criticism you’ve gotten is when somebody dies in a Marvel movie, they tend to come back in some way. If it happens, will it be for real this time?
Yes. I mean, I could always list off the characters that we’ve killed in our movies that haven’t come back, but the big ones, which I know they’re looking at …? [Pause.] I would just say, yes. People need to be careful what they wish for.

Women’s March on LA 2018

Scarlett made her first event for 2018 yesterday for the second annual Women’s March on LA at Pershing Square with some of the big names out there Natalie Portman, Sophia Bush, Olivia Wilde, Paris Jackson, Eva Longoria, Lupita Nyong’o and lot’s lot’s more. Again Scarlett took to the stage to give a speech on women’s rights, her own struggles in hollwood and to call out James Franco. HQ photos from the event are up in the gallery and you can watch Scarlett’s speech below.

Ever since men and women flooded the Golden Globes red carpet two weeks ago with signs of all-black sartorial solidarity and “Time’s Up” pins, there has been questions swirling around some of the men claiming to be allies of the movement against sexual misconduct. Actress Scarlett Johansson, giving her second barn-burning speech at a Women’s March in as many years, called out Globe winner James Franco on Saturday saying: “I want my pin back, by the way.”

In addition to winning a Golden Globe two weeks ago, Franco, who wore a Time’s Up pin while claiming his prize, also garnered a lot of attention thanks to some comments on social media during the ceremony including some pointed, since-deleted tweets from actress Ally Sheedy. A few days later, the L.A. Times printed a report of five women accusing Franco of sexual misconduct. Franco denied the allegations. The actor has now been publicly addressed by Johansson, one of the original signers of the Time’s Up announcement letter and a major donor to the cause.

Though she didn’t name him directly during her speech in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, a rep for Johansson later confirmed to the L.A. Times that the actress was indeed referring directly to Franco when she said: “How could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?” Pausing for effect, she then asked Franco for her pin back. Her comments start at the 1:25 mark.

Johansson posed further questions on much-debated topics such as abuses of power and what some deem grey areas of consent before saying she felt a “rage” bubbling up inside her on behalf of women who have been abused and also, she admitted, on behalf of herself.

Johansson then related her own personal experience: “Suddenly I was 19 again and I began to remember all the men who had taken advantage of the fact that I was a young woman who didn’t yet have the tools to say no, or understand the value of my own self-worth,” said Johansson who appeared in her first film at the age of 10. “I had many relationships both personal and professional where the power dynamic was so off that I had to create a narrative that I was the cool girl who could hang in and hang out, and that sometimes meant compromising what felt right for me.”

“No more pandering,” Johansson concluded. “No more feeling guilty about hurting someone’s feelings when something doesn’t feel right for me,” she said. “I have made a promise to myself to be responsible to my self, that in order to trust my instincts I must first respect them.”

Saturday Night Live episode 43.11

Scarlett yet again made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live episode 11 with Kevin Hart as host. Again Scarlett reprises her role as Ivanka Trump for the segment White House Tree Trimming Cold Open and again was seen at the end of the show ice skating with the cast. At this time we only have HQ screen captures up in the gallery as no stills are out yet but I’m hoping tomorrow for some to hit the web.

There was no way Saturday Night Live was going to close out its banner year without one more trip to the location that proved so easy to mock in 2017: Donald Trump’s White House. The opening sketch hung on the concept of Trump and his cohorts bidding a snarky farewell to the many political figures, like Sean Spicer, who didn’t last the year.

Melissa McCarthy wasn’t on hand to kick around Spicer one last time, but S.N.L. did get an A-list star (in addition to Alec Baldwin) to give the sketch some added holiday value. Reprising her appearance from back in March, Scarlett Johansson swung by to roll out her Ivanka Trump impression one last time this year.

The parade of impressions from the regular cast, however, easily highlighted the year’s M.V.P.s, as Mikey Day’s Donald Jr. and Alex Moffat’s Eric Trump handily stole the show with their dumb and dumber routine.

Leslie Jones also made an appearance just outside the White House window as freshly fired (or was she?) Trump employee Omarosa Manigault. Jones repeated the impression just a few sketches later when she crashed “Weekend Update.”

But Omarosa wasn’t the only repeat appearance on the show. As the credits rolled and host Kevin Hart said his goodbyes alongside the rest of the cast on the ice rink at Rockefeller Center, Johansson and her newly-official partner, Colin Jost, could be seen grinning, holding hands, and skating off together.

We can assume that Johansson’s guest role was at least in part a show of support for Jost on his first episode back as head writer of S.N.L.

VanityFair – December 2017

At LONG last we are getting more info on the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War thanks to the December issue of VanityFair who have given us our first full HQ photo of Scarlett as blonde Natasha. The issue is out on stands on December 02nd but you can buy it digitally now.

On a sweltering October weekend, the largest-ever group of Marvel superheroes and friends gathered just outside of Atlanta for a top-secret assignment. Eighty-three of the famous faces who have brought Marvel’s comic-book characters to life over the past decade mixed and mingled—Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, bonded with Vin Diesel, the voice of Groot, the monosyllabic sapling from Guardians of the Galaxy. Angela Bassett, mother to Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther, flew through hurricane-like conditions to report for duty alongside Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brie Larson, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Laurence Fishburne, and Stan Lee, the celebrated comic-book writer and co-creator of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men.

Their mission: to strike a heroic pose to commemorate 10 years of unprecedented moviemaking success. Marvel Studios, which kicked things off with Iron Man in 2008, has released 17 films that collectively have grossed more than $13 billion at the global box office; 5 more movies are due out in the next two years. The sprawling franchise has resuscitated careers (Downey), has minted new stars (Tom Hiddleston), and increasingly attracts an impressive range of A-list talent, from art-house favorites (Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton in Doctor Strange) to Hollywood icons (Anthony Hopkins and Robert Redford) to at least three handsome guys named Chris (Hemsworth, Evans, and Pratt). The wattage at the photo shoot was so high that Ant-Man star Michael Douglas—Michael Douglas!—was collecting autographs. (Photographer Jason Bell shot Vanity Fair’s own Marvel portfolio shortly afterward.)

But it wasn’t Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury or even Chris Evans’s Captain America who assembled Earth’s mightiest heroes. They came for Kevin Feige, the unassuming man in a black baseball cap who took Marvel Studios from an underdog endeavor with a roster of B-list characters to a cinematic empire that is the envy of every other studio in town. Feige’s innovative, comic-book-based approach to blockbuster moviemaking—having heroes from one film bleed into the next—has changed not only the way movies are made but also pop culture at large. Fans can’t get enough of a world where space-hopping Guardians of the Galaxy might turn up alongside earthbound Avengers, or Doctor Strange and Black Panther could cross paths via a mind-bending rift in the space-time continuum. Other studios, most notably Warner Bros., with the Justice League, have tried to create their own web of interconnected characters. Why have so many failed to achieve Marvel’s heights? “Simple,” said Joe Russo, co-director of Avengers 3 and 4. “They don’t have a Kevin.”

Scarlett On Finding Your Roots “4×05 – Immigrant Nation”

Last night Scarlett was on the TV show Finding Your Roots 4×05 – Immigrant Nation were she found out about her mothers Jewish ancestors and what happen to some of them in the Holocaust. I have added captures from the show there not the best but it was all I could find at this time, If you live in the US you can watch the video on the official site Here and I hope to have a copy for you all the watch on this site soon.

In 1910, Johansson’s maternal great-grandfather Saul Schlamberg (who was then still going by his Yiddish first name, Schlachne) immigrated from a small town in Poland to New York City. He settled on Ludlow Street in the city’s Lower East Side, which was full of Jewish immigrants at the time, and was believed to have sold bananas at a market. He was alone, not yet 25 and very poor.

Johansson, whose father is Danish, is visibly moved as she pored over a document about the ship Saul took across the Atlantic Ocean.

“You kind of imagine your ancestors, ‘Oh, they came over on this ship or whatever,’” she said. “But then to actually see the paper and know that they were journeying towards what would eventually result in me — it’s pretty surreal.”

Sadly, the narrative takes a dark turn as host Henry Louis Gates, Jr. shifted to the family Saul left behind in Grojec, Poland. Saul’s brother Moishe and his family of 10 children ended up in the Warsaw Ghetto by 1942. By that time, all of Grojec’s Jews had been either killed or deported.

“I cant imagine what you must be feeling,” Johansson says when Gates asks about what she thinks deportation for the family must have been like. “Just hell, it must’ve been hell.”

Thanks to a testimony one of Moishe’s daughters sent years later to the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum in Israel, Johansson learns about the fate of some of Moishe’s other children: Zlata, 15, and Mandil, 17, both died in the Warsaw Ghetto.

After reading this, Johansson begins to cry.

“I promised myself I wouldn’t cry,” she says. “But it’s hard not to.”

“It’s crazy to imagine that Saul would be on the other side selling bananas on Ludlow Street and how different it would be being in America at that time,” Johansson continues. “The fate of one brother versus the other. It makes me feel more deeply connected to that side of myself, that side of my family. I didn’t expect that.”

I’m not a big fan my self of comedy but this movie was good for the most part if only for Kate McKinnon and Scarlett holding it up and doing all they can to make it work, the bit with Peter was not needed in the movie at all and is what I hate about american comedys. You can order the Blu-Ray for $19.89 Here , 4K UDH for $27.96 Here and DVD for $17.99 Here.
